ABOUT US
Set in the heart of Steyning next to the Clock tower and opposite the car park...
With its' dark cobbles and half-timbered buildings, Cobblestone Walk oozes character but being an independent shopping village is just the start! It has been in its' current incarnation for the last twenty years. However, Steyning residents with long memories will remember it as the village bakery and Steyning Tea House, which was housed in the charming timbered cottage at the heart of the site, now The Cobblestone Tea House.
When the bakers extinguished their ovens for the last time in 1963, Steyning House (as it was then known) stood empty for nearly ten years. Earmarked to become a supermarket, enter Wendy Tipler who Purchased the property and raised her family here and for the next 40 years.
Forward to 2011 enter Edward Woodward with a clear vision and a real passion brings to you what is now known as Cobblestone Walk……………

Cobblestone Walk is one of Steyning's oldest collection of buildings, Steyning House and Cobblestone Walk now house A beautifully quaint shopping arcade, housing one the largest collections of independent shops in Sussex.
